The Role:

We're looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our early-stage team at Aloi and help us make sense of our data. You'll have the unique opportunity to be part of designing and building our entire analytics stack from the ground up.

What You'll Do:

• Architect, set up, and maintain our analytics data warehouse from scratch.
• Establish reliable pipelines to ingest raw data from various sources into the data warehouse, and ensure data is accurate and reliable.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust data transformation pipelines, creating a semantic layer with clean, modeled data for reporting and analysis.
• Empowering others in the organisation to make data-driven decisions by making data models and dashboards accessible and understandable for everyone.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to translate their goals into clear, measurable success metrics.

Who You Bring:

• You have a proven ability to design and implement an end-to-end data pipeline from scratch (i.e. data ingestion, data warehouse, analytics/semantic layer, BI/visualisation tool).
• You are proficient in SQL, Python, and have experience with modern data tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte).
• You are comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy taking ownership, and are excited by the challenge of building something new.
• You are a clear communicator, and you enjoy working closely with both technical and non-technical teams.
